– Former WWE star Kurrgan has a role in the upcoming movie “Brock Mansions” starring the late Paul Walker.

– For what it’s worth, it’s said within WWE that current plans have John Cena and Daniel Bryan being pushed as the #1 and #2 guys in the company after WrestleMania XXX, now that CM Punk is gone. No word yet if this means Bryan is winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

Backstage News On Why WWE Is Pushing Big Show, Latest On Daniel Bryan’s Status


Big Show is main eventing WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view with Randy Orton because there’s a renewed effort within WWE to put larger or bigger wrestlers in the spotlight. This is the reason for Show being pushed and why we’ve seen more of Luke Harper and The Great Khali lately.

There’s a feeling that Daniel Bryan was on top for a few months and WWE’s pay-per-view buyrates have been down during that period. The feeling among upper management is that Bryan isn’t a larger than life wrestler and that’s what fans want. They feel a guy like Bryan should be on the mid-card having great matches.

There is a pervading myth within the IWC and generally the hardcore fanbase of wrestling. It’s a myth that has been heard in many towns and across different continents. Picture it, John Cena is facing off against someone when the significantly lower pitched chants start: “You can’t wrestle”.

I used to hold to this myth. When I first started getting back into WWE and wrestling in general it was early 2010, John Cena was in his perpetual and extremely confusing position of the underdog WWE Champion, main eventing every pay per view and Raw. Honestly, it was boring. Plodding and predictable matches that invariably ended with Cena beating the odds. But take a look at the opponents Cena had in that period: The Miz, Batista, Wade Barrett. Not exactly a list of the greatest workers of wrestling…
